Rob Harley’s Great Journeys in Australia

JourneysOver the week at Synod we’ve been promoting Rob Harley’s resources, Journeys and Friends For Life. I discovered this morning that he’ll actually be in Australia next week taking free 2-hour workshops on his courses. The courses are being promoted by Churches Resources Australia on their site at www.crsonline.com.au on behalf of Great Journeys in NZ.

Rob Harley’s a high profile television journalist in NZ who’s put together a collection of real stories of faith featuring down to earth everyday people. They include a guy who died on a hospital theatre table after being stung by box jellyfish, a young violinist who’s arms were healed, and a young family coming to terms with the terminal cancer of their husband and dad. The stories are great awareness raisers for people just coming to terms with the spiritual side of their lives.

We had some excellent stories this last week from people who have shared the resource with their friends and neighbours.
