Postkiwi

I’m at Central Queensland Presbytery meeting in Mackay this weekend. It’s a gathering of Uniting Church leaders for encouragement and commissioning. Tomorrow I’m doing some work with them on respectful listening in small groups.

Sunday morning I’ll be in dialogue with a country church celebrating the sugar cane harvest while rethinking their approach to mission. Sunday afternoon working Northside on small groups and stewardship. Monday lunch with local ministers. Monday night with St Paul’s/Armitage on the development of their missional connection with the community. Tuesday night with Iona West looking at supporting families.

Wednesday it’ll be back to Brisbane to work with ministry students on change and transition. Thursday will be more of the same with a focus on roles and boundaries. I’m looking forward to a day off next Friday!
