I used to wonder what the radio announcer was talking about when he/she referred to the weather radar. And then I took a look for myself.

Right now there’s an impressive storm brewing up around Townsville.

There are two sites that give me that information:

Weatherzone

and

Australian Bureau of Meterology

The second site provides the capacity to check on the direction of rain, hail or snow, with a 4-image loop.
