Apple is being challenged to catch up with its competitors HP, Dell, Nokia and Sony by removing toxic chemicals from products and production lines, and offering and promoting free ‘take back’ for all products everywhere they are sold. The campaign site, greenmyapple.org, looks just like one of Apple’s sites, but for the green apple in the left hand top corner. Site visitors are encouraged to design a campaign poster or t-shirt, use Greenpeace footage to make a video about the issue, create an alternative Steve Jobs speech, or make an alternative Apple ad.
