Barr Soft Drinks has launched the first Christmas-focused television campaign for the Scottish soft drink, IRN BRU. The 60 second animation, “Phenomenal Christmas’, plays with Raymond Brigg’s original story, “The Snowman”.
Hahn Super Dry Draws Love Boobs
Lion Nathan has been running another Hahn beer television campaign, this time for the new product, “Hahn Super Dry”, a low calorie beer with the same alcoholic content as regular beer but a third of the calories. In line with the Hahn Premium Light campaign, the first television advertisement features a sexy woman (ballerina Natalie Decorte) dismayed by the one-track mind of her man, Scott McGregor from Temptation. A couple enjoy a romantic walk on what appears to be a Pacific Island beach. She takes a stick and draws a love heart in the sand. He takes his foot and transforms the shape into a pair of boobs while he swigs on his Hahn Super Dry beer. The tagline: “Super Honest. Super Refreshing”.
Target 2006 Christmas with Goldfrapp
Target USA has joined forces with designer Tord Boontje and British electronic duo Goldfrapp to promote the 2006 Christmas range in a series of six television commercials.
France 24 Beyond The News in Icebergs
France 24, the new French international news channel, launches tomorrow. Marcel Paris, led by Fred and Farid, won the advertising account in September and have been busy developing a viral campaign to promote the “Beyond the News” concept. A series of iceberg posters provide a critique of international coverage of news across the world, including the civil war in Sudan, nuclear threats in Iran North Korea, the tension in Lebanon, and the obesity epidemic.
