SOS Sad Fish Thoughts on Global Warming

Here’s another TV ad for the SOS Live Earth conservation campaign. The commercial, which premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, provides honest and up close reflections on the global warming, through the perspectives of children and teenagers.

SOS Girl

The attitudes expressed by the children reflect the variety of opinions held by people of all ages. Some are blasé, believing that everything will be fine. Others are disturbed, concerned that the world will be irreparably damaged. The ad finishes with children reflecting on the action required to prevent the build up of greenhouse gases. The spot gets its title from a girl who suggests that without air we’d be like sad fish gasping for air.
