Plan Be with Attitudes

Here’s a promo for Plan Be, the alternative to the framework critiqued in the “What Goes Around Comes Around” campaign. Plan A has been to treat others like they treat us. Plan Be is to treat others how we would like to be treated. The trouble with an ‘eye-for-an-eye’ policy is that in the end it makes us ‘blind’. We are no longer able to see, let alone do, the sort of things that make for peace and love and justice.

Dave Andrews, the author of Plan Be, is collaborating with TEAR Australia, Bible Society Queensland, and the Uniting Church in Australia Queensland Synod to ignite a movement of people who take seriously the challenge of the golden rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do to you.” Working with Capacity Builders they have developed an integrated promotional campaign, involving a web site, www.wecan.be, the We Can Be Facebook group, concertina brochure (above), personal journals, action/reflection guides for small groups, vox pops street interviews and promo video (below).
