Lenovo Computers bring Best Engineering

Lenovo puts its engineering research on the line with this series of online videos. The ‘Best Engineering’ video campaign is summarized in ‘Anthem’, featuring edited exercpts from each of the tests carried out on Lenovo notebooks, with Gene Wilder singing “Pure Imagination’ (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory 1971). The five videos here show each of the test sequences.

Weightless

On January 21 a Lenovo ThinkPad was subjected to a weightless environment. How will it perform in zero gravity? The Lenovo ThinkPad: the only PC currently cleared for space flight by NASA.

Water Test

On January 23 a Lenovo Thinkpad was submerged in 378,000 gallons of water at NASA’s facilities. How much liquid is too much liquid? Lenovo ThinkPad: Resistant to 60 cc’s today. Tomorrow, who knows? From the world’s best engineers come the world’s best engineered PCs. ThinkPad is not yet waterproof. Until it is, don’t try this in the bath. The system lasted three seconds. However no one was electrocuted in the process.

Crash Test
