Pepsi Pinball in San Francisco

Pepsi is presented as the drink of the streets of San Francisco with this TV ad released in March 2007. The ad has been nominated for the most outstanding commercial in the Emmy Awards 2007. A young man takes a sip from a can of Pepsi moments before being caught up by a six foot tall pinball in Pepsi colours. What follows is an exciting interactive zing through the streets and subways of San Francisco. Miraculously, he stays on top of the ball throughout the journey. Finally he lands in a stadium ground and sees his score on the large screen. To celebrate he takes another sip from his can…

The Pepsi Pinball ad was developed at Atmosphere BBDO, New York, by chief creative officer David Lubars and Bill Bruce, executive creative director Don Schneider, creative director/art director John Leu, creative director/copywriter Brad Roseberry, executive producer Amy Wertheimer, executive music producer Loren Parkins.

Filming was directed by Traktor via Partizan, with director of photography Matthew Libatique (Phone Booth, Gothika).
