Sprint in the Red Zone

Sprint is promoting cellphone access to NFL games with “Red Zone”, a television commercial featuring a miniaturized game of football. Red Zone, the name of the commercial, refers to the area between the 20 yard line and the goal of the defensive team.

Sprint Red Zone

A visual effects filled 30 second advertisement shows a field goal being kicked in a miniature CG stadium, built in front of our eyes. The spot finishes by introducing us to Sprint’s offer to provide data customers free access to live radio broadcasts of every NFL game throughout the 2008 regular season.

Sprint customers will also be able to watch all eight of the Thursday Night Football telecasts carried by NFL Network live beginning on November 6 via the new NFL Mobile Live application. Users can choose a favorite team and every time they use NFL Mobile Live that team’s information will appear on the screen first with the latest information and quick links to live broadcasts for that team on game days, thus eliminating the need to navigate through several screens.
