Vodafone in New Zealand has launched a TV advertising campaign promoting the international connections provided by the mobile phone network. A young businessman folds a map, laptop, television screen, and CD collection into small enough components to put in his pocket. And of course he can even fold up his partner to take with him.
“When you’re part of the world’s largest international mobile network you can take your world with you”.

Lyrics for 1922 Blues
Well I worked all summer couldn’t save a cent
I gave all my money to the government
I don’t know quite how it got spent
but the banks are coming for my deed though
Man at the mill can’t see though
Let me get my feed for free though
Ain’t that the way it is
I cut out down a braver road
I traded my stock for a V84
Danced for town down on the floor boards
And the title owed down to me though
That gasoline ain’t free through
Just guzzling out my knee bone?
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I met me a woman down in Saint Paul
with a little money and a little pole
Bloke told me that he’d bust my jaw
I talked to his sister again though
Don’t mean I couldn’t win though
There’s blood running down my chin now
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I slept all night on the bar room floor
and woke up this morning my head was sore
Pockets empty but I want some more
The bar man’s got my car though
Tales worth more by far though
As I leave her down at the bar now
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I hitched me a ride on the way back home
I got me a job on a family farm
Times are hard here but I can’t roll?
and I ain’t got nothing more
Oh that company store
Gold’s looking good for sure though
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I worked all summer couldn’t save a cent
I gave all my money to the government
I don’t know quite how it got spent
but the banks are coming for my deed though
Man at the mill can’t see though
Let me get my feed for free though
Ain’t that the way it is
Can anyone tell me what that leather band around his right hand wrist is? Im sure its got some certain name, Im just not too sure what. Can anyone help me?
Oh thank you. I’ve been trying to find out what this song is ever since I first saw the ad and you’ve not only done that but you’ve given me the lyrics as well.
Thanks also to iTunes Store because I now own this song.
Site is now going into my bookmarks. Good job.
hi,
how was the VFX done?
I disagree with some of your lyrics
I hear
Well I worked all summer couldn’t save a cent
I gave all my money to the government
I don’t know quite how it got spent
but the banks are coming for my deed boys
Man at the mill can’t see boys
Let me get my feed for free boys
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I cut out down a Gravel road
I traded my stock for a V8 ford
That’s 410 down on the floor boards
And the title wrote down to me boys
That gasoline ain’t free boys
this clutch wearing out my knee boys
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I met me a woman down in Saint Paul
I even met her mother and I met her Pa
Her brother told me that he’d bust my jaw
if I talked to his sister again boys
Told me I couldn’t win boys
There’s blood running down my chin now
Ain’t that the way it is
Oh I slept all night on the bar room floor
and woke up this morning my head was sore
Pockets empty but I want some more
Now the bar man’s got my car boys
Tab’s worth more by far boys
I leave her down at the bar now
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I hitched me a ride on the way back home
I got me a job on a family farm
Times are hard here but I can’t roam
and I ain’t got nothing more boys
I owe that company store boys
Road’s looking good for sure boys
Ain’t that the way it is
Well I worked all summer couldn’t save a cent
I gave all my money to the government
I don’t know quite how it got spent
but the banks are coming for my deed boys
Man at the mill can’t see boys
Let me get my feed for free boys
but Ain’t that the way it is

Has anyone got a clue about that artwork on the wall. The red & white one? Appreciate any leads on this
If you ever want to find out what the name of a song is you just type any lyrics you know into a google search and it will tell you the name of the song and usually all the lyrics. That’s how I found this website. 🙂
Nice one, kept meaning to look this up but never seemed to remember when I got to a PC!
PS Definitely says “though”not “boys”….
For those arguing about the lyrics-
Get a life. It’s not important. If you think it is important, get help, take a pill, chill out, or just give it up.
I’d also like to know what the exact wristband the guy is wearing in this add.
