Adidas Original Games in Capetown

Adidas takes the Olympics into the streets, parks and beaches of Cape Town in Original Games, a three minute TV and cinema ad. The Olympics in the city events include 50 Meter Hurdle Ducking, Street Fencing, Very High Jump, Cafe Ping Pong, Swing Long Jump, Parasol Javelin, Freestyle Balance Beam, and 10 Meter Dive Bomb.

The Adidas Original concept, carried out in a campaign of five three-minute videos, was developed at 180 Amsterdam (180TBWA) by executive creative directors Richard Bullock and Andy Fackrell, art director Stuart Brown, copywriter Niklas Lilja, agency producer Cedric Gairard.

Filming for Adidas Original Games was directed by Henry-Alex Rubin via Stink, London, with director of photography Michael Cleary, executive producer Cedric Gairard, producer Molly Pope and editor Spencer Ferszt.

Post production was done at Glassworks, produced by Nickie Stevens and Rick Naudé.

Sound was recorded at Grand Central, London, designed and mixed by Raja Seghal. Music was arranged by Massive Music.
