I’m looking at digital cameras online in preparation for cashing in an insurance credit. The slide projector was damaged in flash flooding a month ago. Instead of replacing it I’ve decided to upgrade the camera. At the moment I’m looking at the 8 Megapixel range. It’s equivalent in the Canon range doesn’t have manual adjustment of zoom. Here’s one camera that stands out against the opposition, the Konica Minolta Dimage A200. It has the capacity to add on filters etc. I’ve checked out Darren Rowse’s Digital Camera blog – a very handy site.
Yes the flood came through the house, while we were away. Came home to find a room with six inches of water in it. We had desks, couch, guitar effects pedal, 150 watt keyboard amplifier, saxophone and a number of papers affected, not to mention the carpet. We’re almost back to normal now, thanks to the insurance company!
thanx for the web link.

was this in your house? did you get other damage?
