I watched “Life of Brian” tonight. Not Monty Python. The ABC Australia Story feature on Brian Houston and Hillsong Church in Sydney.
There’s been a bit of muckraking in the newspapers this last week, zeroing on in the perceived inconsistencies around Brian and Bobbie Houston’s income. Brian and Bobbie have a go here at keeping things above board.
For the first time we get to see the Hillsong Senior Pastors’ lives from their perspective, with personal interviews in the context of their home and office. Joel, Ben and Laura are interviewed, as are Darlene Zschech (worship leader) and Leigh Coleman (chief executive of Hillsong’s community aid programs).

Duncan, I saw the programme last night and was left sadly diappointed!
This is a far cry from the Christianity I was introduced to in 1980, this was the ‘ME’ gospel at its finest! Pray for the AOG, it desperately needs it!
