De Beers Jewelry company recently sponsored The Unbreakable Kiss, a photography installation in New York City, inviting couples to recreate their moment when forever began. A stage was installed in Madison Square Park, surrounded by 60 cameras ready to photograph couples from all angles. Couples stepped up onto the stage, kissed beneath a mistletoe arrangement and made a $5 donation to the Elton John AIDS Foundation for World AIDS Day. The photographs were combined into moving video images, which are available for download on at today’s site of the day, When Forever Began – Gallery of Moments, a part of the adiamondisforever.com suite.
The site includes behind-the-scenes videos, showing installation, construction of the stage, and reactions (soon to be added).
