Covenanting is one of the distinctive approaches being developed by Vision for Mission. As we work on a resourcing proposal with a project team we use a covenant template to identify key mission goals, the partners in the project, the nature of support, and significant timelines for planning and evaluation.
The covenant document is a relationship-building piece of green tape, rather than a bureacratic piece of red tape. We use the template to identify together who’s involved, what will be ventured, and how we will learn from the experience together.
